Adnet Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of Adnet, the advertising network operated by GeistM Inc. ("GeistM", "we") at adnet.geistm.com, including the ad delivery endpoints, the Exchange (matcher), the GeistM AI service, and the network features of the GeistM Adnet WordPress plugin (together, the "Service"). By enabling Adnet on a site, registering a site, or using the AI service, you agree to these terms. The plugin's own code is licensed under the GPL, version 2 or later; these terms cover the hosted Service, not the code.

1. Publishers

• You may register only sites you own or are authorized to operate, and the declaration your site signs must describe it truthfully.
• You are responsible for your site's privacy policy and for any visitor notice or consent the law requires where you operate. The plugin adds suggested privacy text describing Adnet to your WordPress privacy policy page; our Privacy Policy describes what the Service receives.
• You must not generate or allow invalid traffic: clicking your own ads, automated or incentivized views or clicks, hiding or stacking ad slots, or misrepresenting where an ad appeared. We may withhold or reverse credit for traffic we reasonably determine to be invalid, and may suspend sites that produce it.
• You may remove ad slots or disable Adnet at any time.

2. Earnings and payouts

Each campaign is a smart contract that holds its own budget and rates. Verified views and clicks on your site are credited to your site's wallet address by the campaign contract, and payouts are made from the contract to that address. You are responsible for keeping your site wallet's private key and backup secure: we never hold it and cannot recover it. Blockchain network fees, taxes on your earnings, and the availability of campaigns are outside our control, and we do not guarantee any level of earnings.

3. Advertisers

Advertisers are responsible for the content of their campaigns and the destinations they link to, and must comply with applicable law and advertising standards. We may refuse, pause, or remove any campaign.

4. GeistM AI service

The AI service drafts site descriptions from content you choose to send. It is offered free within a monthly quota per site, which we may change. Drafts are generated by a third-party AI model and may be inaccurate. Review them before you sign and publish them; you are responsible for what your site declares. Do not send content you do not have the right to share.

5. Acceptable use

Do not use the Service to break the law, infringe others' rights, distribute malware, interfere with or overload the Service, or attempt to access data that is not yours. We may suspend or terminate access for violations.

6. Availability and changes

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". We may change, suspend, or discontinue any part of it. Ads stop rendering if the Service is unavailable; your site keeps working. We will post changes to these terms on this page and update the date above. Continued use after a change means you accept it.

7. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, GeistM disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. GeistM is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, or data. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the greater of the amounts paid to you through the Service in the three months before the claim or US $100.

8. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Disputes will be heard in the state or federal courts located in New York County, New York.
